The DoD contract will tell you what type of information – Federal Classified Information (FCI) or Controlled Unclassified Information you will handle under the contract. The level of certification (Level 1, 2 or 3) will be determined from that.

No, only C3PAOs (Third Party Assessor Organizations) can perform assessments using their team of CMMC Certified Assessors. Learning Tree is not a C3PAO (Third Party Assessor Organization).
