  • Who Should Attend: Current Project Managers (certified and uncertified), aspiring Project Managers, and anyone aiming to enhance their project management skills.
  • Official Prerequisites: There are no official mandatory prerequisites from PeopleCert for the PRINCE2 7 Foundation exam. For the PRINCE2 7 Practitioner exam, PeopleCert requires one of the following certifications as a prerequisite. PeopleCert will not release exam results without proof of certification.

What to Expect

  • Exam Prep Course: This course is designed to help you prepare for both the foundation and practitioner certification exams. You can expect coverage of all exam learning objectives, with a focus on understanding key concepts, terminology, and how they’re assessed. For a deeper, more hands-on general project management learning experience, consider Course 296, Project Management Fundamentals.
  • Content Volume: Certification courses cover a large amount of material in a short time. Instructors prioritize content tied to exam objectives. Supplementary topics will be addressed as time allows.
  • Class Pace: Certification courses are fast-paced and adhere to a strict schedule, ensuring all exam objectives are covered. While discussions and examples are included, the focus remains on certification readiness.
  • Outside of Class Study Time: Plan for self-study outside of class, especially if the concepts are new to you. Passing the exam is not guaranteed.

PRINCE2 Certification Training Course FAQs

You will receive two exam vouchers and a link to register and schedule your online exam sessions with the PeopleCert web proctoring service. You will sit your exams after you have completed your training course at a date and time that fits your schedule. Visit the PeopleCert website for more information.

Take2 is the exam re-sit option, if you are not successful on your first attempt.  This complimentary benefit is available for all attendees for publicly scheduled course events of this PeopleCert class. After your exam, you will be notified by PeopleCert that you are eligible to register for the exam re-sit.

Please note that you must re-sit the exam within six months of your initial exam.

All PeopleCert Business and IT certifications (including PRINCE2, ITIL and DOI) must be renewed within three years of their original certification date. There are two ways to keep certifications current: 

  1. Join PeopleCert Plus (a paid annual membership) to maintain your certifications.
  2. Earn another certification from the same within the PRINCE2 Project, Programme & Portfolio Management Suite. All certifications will renew at the same time as your latest certification.
