Program Schedule
The Certificate Program Kickoff serves as a crucial introductory event, providing you with a valuable opportunity to connect with your program coach.
During this session, you will not only establish a rapport with your coach but also gain a clear understanding of the desired outcomes aligned with your goals.
In this module, participants learn the fundamental management skills and leadership competencies, including how to motivate and empower teammates with passion, facilitate effective communication, delegate tasks clearly, develop a proactive customer-focused approach, and enhance leadership abilities through emotional intelligence.

Productive communication is essential for a new leader, and yet is often overlooked in a leader’s development.
In this module, participants establish a mindset for productive communication and learn key techniques, including communication in a complex environment, authenticity, and adaptability, as well as the several main communication styles.
There are five coaching sessions conducted throughout the program. The purpose of these coaching sessions is to review the prior modules, solidify the learning and discuss steps involved in perfecting your capstone project.
Once a leader has established a mindset for productive communication, the tools needed for productive communication need to be explored and practiced.
In this companion module to Preparing for Productive Communication, participants will explore and practice critical productive communication tools, including how to listen and understand, how to ask effective questions, non-verbal cues, how to have tough conversations, reflection and affirmation, and more.

For the new leader, creating a team innovation mindset is critical. Leading innovation is an essential skill yet, can be intimidating for the uninitiated. This practical module leads participants through a set of tools that can be used to foster team innovation.
The ROI (Return-On-Investment) Workshop is a four-hour virtual session where the participants meet with the lead instructor and lead coach to review individual performance on actions-to-be-taken throughout the FLP, and to offer any final recommendations on learning adoption to the participants.
This session is scheduled approximately 30 days after the completion of Module 6. A general discussion of the results of the Post- Program Knowledge & Skills Assessment will also be conducted. There is also a brief graduation ceremony to bring closure to the FLP and the process.
